Rec me, baby.

I've kind of delightfully been on an HP kick recently. It's nice, you know, because I've been meaning to go back and read more fic before DH comes out.

Anyway, I have a proposition for all of you. Rec me some good Potter fics, any genre, any ship, written how ever long ago or recently you feel like. I don't care if it's so famous your grandmother has heard of it or so obscure you think you and a elderly Indonesian man are the only people who have read it. Just rec me good fics, as many as you feel like.

If You've A Ready Mind by sarahtales

This is my absolute favorite Harry/Draco fic. An AU where Draco is sorted into Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin. It features Maya's version of Draco, who is... perhaps just a bit more witty than the Draco we see in canon, but otherwise I have to say that IYARM is just about the closet to accurate characterization I've read in this ship. Plus it's absolutely hysterical.

Hang the Moon by Canis M.

Wow, I haven't read marauder's stuff outside of shoebox in a really long time. I forgot how lovely it could be. Canis M. writes some of the best Remus/Sirius you'll ever find, though Hang the Moon is really more gen/pre-slash. This was the first R/S I ever read, though, and I still get nostalgic thinking about it.

A certain Point Of View by B. Bennett

I don't even know how many times I've read this. So hilarious. I think I'll go read it again now. :)
